Drip irrigation

Drip irrigation of permanent crops is an irrigation system, which enables to supply water to plants by means of drip hoses and service fittings even dur-ing periods of extreme drought. Sources of water for drip irrigation systems can be surface sources, such as streams, ponds, rivers, irrigation reservoirs, as well as underground water sources, namely wells. Drop irrigation is a very economical means of irrigation, because it minimizes evaporation and irri-gates only the places that are in most need of water supply.
